Since 1950, the Kelowna Skating Club (KSC) has been the preeminent skating school for Kelowna, servicing the needs of skaters at all levels and ages, all seasons of the year.
The KSC is a Skate Canada member club, offering the nationally standardized CanSkate learn-to-skate program. CanSkate is offered in a safe and welcoming learning environment for beginner skaters in pursuit of ice sports including hockey, figure skating and speed skating, as well as recreational skating.
In 2009, through its partnership with Skate Canada British Columbia and Yukon, the KSC became the second Centre of Excellence in BC, establishing the Kelowna Centre for Skating Excellence with a coach-driven model designed to help figure skaters attain their full potential through systematic and thorough instruction. Since then, the KSC has been one of the most successful clubs in BC and Canada, producing numerous champions at the provincial level, as well as national champions and international medalists.
Be it helping a child take his first steps on the ice or guiding an elite skater to her full potential, the KSC takes great pride in providing exceptional training and life skills at all levels.
